Evening event with Stockholm University and the Swedish – Portuguese Chamber of Commerce

On Monday, October 26th a delegation of Swedish executives from approximately 25Swedish firms will be visiting Lisbon, as part of their Executive MBA activity at Stockholm University, to better understand the trade and business dynamics of the city. The visit to Lisbon is arranged in cooperation with Nova School of Business and Economics and the Swedish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce.

This evening event, organised jointly by Stockholm University and the Swedish-Portuguese Chamber, is designed to bring executives from both countries together with a view to sharing experiences, and perspectives, on trade and business across borders. We very much hope you're able to participate in what promises to be a very productive evening!

Miguel Alves Martins, Director of Nova SBE Leadership for Impact Center, professor of Social Entrepreneurship and Management of Non-Profit Organizations at Nova SBE was also co-founder and Executive Director of IES - Social Business School and Director of Ashoka Portugal and has a deep engagement in the Portuguese ecosystem dedicated to Social Entrepreneurship.

On the theme Every Social Entrepreneur should act as a CEO, and every CEO should act as a Social Entrepreneur, Miguel will focus on how our economy has generated a lot of efficiency but with a high societal cost. We need a (new) type of leadership: a hybrid between current CEO’s and a mindset of Social Entrepreneur.

The question is not about Performance or Societal Progress. It’s about how leaders in all type of organizations deliver Performance and Societal Progress.
