On May 19th, CLS, together with partners, gathered senior leaders, stakeholders, and experts to discuss geopolitics and security, and to reflect on how organisations can better understand and navigate the new strategic landscape.
CLS welcomed 60 guests from the Swedish-Portuguese business community for this year's edition of the Executive Exchange Dinner. The networking event took place at Verride Palácio Santa Catarina with stunning views overlooking the Tagus river.
The evening was organized to foster dialogue on geopolitical developments and their implications for businesses operating between Sweden, Portugal, and beyond, while strengthening connections within the Swedish–Portuguese business community. The Executive Exchange Dinner is a reoccurring and exclusive network event hosted in conjunction with the annual visit from Swedish senior leaders as part of their Executive MBA programme at Stockholm Business School.
The evening featured expert insights on “Geopolitics & Security: Navigating the New Strategic Landscape” from Joakim Abeleen, Business Sweden and Luís Brites Pereira, Nova SBE. Moderated by Ian Richardson, the session explored how shifting global dynamics are reshaping geopolitics and security, and what this means for decision-making in an increasingly complex world.
The evening continued with networking over dinner and refreshments on the rooftop terrace overlooking the Tagus river, where guests continued discussions in a relaxed and engaging atmosphere.
