On Friday, 27th March, CLS hosted a group of prominent professionals in Lisbon for the 30-year reunion of their cohort within the female leadership network Ruter Dam. The afternoon featured a leadership talk with the Managing Directors of Diaverum and Essity, who shared insights and reflections from their leadership journeys.
Founded in 1987, Ruter Dam is an executive development and mentoring program for senior women leaders. The program aims to increase the number of women reaching senior leadership positions in Swedish business. Since the start, over 1600 women have completed Ruter Dam’s one-year program, creating a unique business network. The program features lectures, networking, and mentorship from both internal and external business leaders, focusing on developing strategic, operational, and personal leadership skills.
CLS hosted the 1996 cohort as they reunited to share new insights, explore the Portuguese market, and participate in a leadership talk featuring Portuguese professionals in Swedish companies. CLS presented its organization and a brief overview of the economic and societal perspectives of Portugal. The 23 participants spent the afternoon at the CLS offices, enjoying fika and refreshments while actively engaging with the presentors, creating a lively and interactive session.
The round-table discussion focused on leadership in Portugal in a Swedish context. CLS welcomed Sofia Esteves, Managing Director and Master Data Director at Essity Portugal, and Sofia Correia de Barros, Managing Director at Diaverum Portugal, who presented their companies and shared insights into their leadership roles and challenges. Elin Boavide Berglie from the CLS Board of Directors moderated the session, encouraging an interactive conversation between the presenters and participants.
