Between June 16th to 18th, the Swedish Chambers International (SCI) gathered in Stockholm for the yearly SCI days. The days were focused on collaboration and finding synergies across the Swedish Chambers all over the world.
The SCI days in Stockholm are like the annual summit for the global Swedish chamber network, a mix of strategic planning, knowledge sharing, market insights, and networking aimed at strengthening Swedish business influence worldwide.
This year, it commenced with the launch of the global business climate survey, which unveiled the 6th edition covering 37 markets. Chief Economist at Business Sweden Lena Sellgren presented the results along with a panel discussion to cover the insights. The tone was set with the speeches from a Swedish minister, representatives of SCI's chair, and Business Sweden.
On the second day, the annual SCI meeting took place. A prominent review of the overall performance of the chambers, priorities, and strategies going forward. Continuing with workshops and best practice sharing regarding regional cooperation strategies between international and regional chambers. The sessions also covered programs to increase member value and global impact. Concluding the day, separate roundtable discussions brought in regional chambers to discuss deeper cooperation structures.
More than just an annual gathering, the SCI Days in Stockholm serve as a strategic hub for the global Swedish Chamber network. By combining evidence-based insights, open collaboration, and forward-looking dialogue, these days strengthen the chambers’ collective influence and equip them to better support Swedish businesses around the world. Where local expertise converges with a global vision, the network is united to act with a shared purpose amidst a rapidly evolving international landscape.
