On May 21st, CLS, together with SEB and WEALINS, welcomed Swedish entrepreneurs for an inspiring evening focused on the Portuguese startup ecosystem. The programme featured startup pitches, discussions on entrepreneurship and innovation, and concluded with networking on the rooftop overlooking Lisbon.
Around 15 Swedish entrepreneurs gathered at Fintech House in Lisbon, a well-known incubator and hub for innovation, to gain deeper insights into how the local startup landscape operates and evolves.
The evening began with opening remarks from CLS and our partners WEALINS and SEB, setting the stage for an engaging program. Followed by an introduction about Fintech House from Mariana Falcão, offering an overview of the incubator, the types of startups based there, and key trends shaping the ecosystem.
Followed by a pitch session from Portuguese startups based at Fintech House, who shared their journeys, from early-stage ideas to where they are today. The startups presented their businesses with great passion, sharing the problems they aim to solve through their ideas and innovations. The Swedish entrepreneurs also had the opportunity to engage with the startups, asking questions and sharing insights.

The event concluded with a networking session on the rooftop, where the Swedish entrepreneurs and Portuguese founders connected over refreshments and canapées, overlooking the sun setting over the city.
