The Swedish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (CLS) is pleased to welcome NCAdvisory, a boutique advisory firm specialised in Corporate Governance, ESG, and strategic support to boards and corporate bodies. With a strong legal foundation and a pragmatic approach to governance, NCAdvisory brings a distinctive perspective to our business community.
Founded by Sofia Metelo de Nápoles, NCAdvisory works at the intersection of law, governance, and strategy — helping companies structure decision-making, mitigate risk, and build resilient organisations aligned with international best practices. The firm serves a diverse range of clients, from growing SMEs and startups to family offices and companies undergoing transformation, offering tailored support in areas such as corporate governance architecture, ESG and regulatory advisory, board and shareholder advisory, and strategic corporate advisory.
In a business environment where regulation intensifies and directors' responsibilities expand — from CSRD and CSDDD to evolving ESG reporting frameworks — NCAdvisory positions itself as a strategic partner that delivers executable solutions, not just legal opinions. The firm's approach combines rigorous legal and regulatory expertise with a deep understanding of how organisations operate from the inside.

Meet Sofia Metelo de Nápoles – Founder of NCAdvisory
Sofia is a senior corporate and commercial lawyer with extensive experience supporting executive governance structures, advising boards, and ensuring regulatory and ESG compliance within large corporate groups. Her career spans leading international law firms — including Morais Leitão and Cuatrecasas, with an international posting in Shanghai — as well as the Bank of Portugal, where she served as Legal Counsel. Most recently, she held the role of Company Secretary and Deputy Company Secretary at Brisa Group, one of Portugal's largest infrastructure groups, where she also served as Market Relations Representative before the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM).
Sofia holds a Law Degree and a Master's in Business Law from NOVA University of Lisbon, and completed the Corporate Governance Executive Program at Nova SBE. She brings cross-border experience across the financial, energy, infrastructure, and mobility sectors.
Joining the CLS network is a natural step for NCAdvisory. Through the Chamber, NCAdvisory aims to connect with Swedish and international businesses operating in Portugal, offering the kind of senior-quality legal and governance support — in English — that companies need when navigating the Portuguese market. NCAdvisory is available to Chamber members as a dedicated advisory partner, providing practical, business-oriented guidance across all stages of their operations in Portugal.
We warmly welcome NCAdvisory to the Swedish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce.
