We are looking for a Secretary-General to manage our network, create activities related to the needs of our members and to help to spur the trade relations between Sweden and Portugal. We offer a Portuguese full-time employment relationship.

We need someone who is open-minded, respectful, and responsive – in other words,
communicative. In this position, you will be expected to keep yourself up to date and
well informed and to use your insights in a proactive manner, delivering results in a
smart, politically sensitive way.

Our new colleague should speak and write fluently in English and Portuguese
(knowledge of Swedish will be an advantage). You have a University degree in a
relevant area (International Relations, Business Administration, Public Affairs,
Communications etc.), have work experience in a European/international
environment, interest in Swedish and Portuguese industry, and businesses. Creative
ideas and a good understanding of online community building would definitely be an
asset.

when we look for a new Secretary-General. Your professional profile should fit the
responsibilities below.

Responsibilities
As Secretary-General in our office in Lisbon, you will lead and execute CLS
operational and administrative work according to set mission, vision, CLS bylaws
and the CLS strategy. Some examples of this:

• Be the main point of contact for our members and potential members, and
  provide assistance to meet their needs
• Inform and engage members about the latest CLS activities, campaigns,
  projects
• Increase knowledge about each member and understand their expectations
• Propose new activities and strengthen the relevance of CLS towards its
  members and partners
• Administration (organize Board meetings and General Assemblies, invoicing
  and general administration etc.)
• Communication (Social Media, Newsletters, website, etc.)
• Event coordinator

In short: manage relations with the CLS members and partners, create new
links between Sweden and Portugal and step up the experience of our members.

The Swedish Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in Lisbon (CLS) is a non-profit
the organization, currently counting at 113 members. The main objective of CLS is to
promote business for members through activities in accordance with the interchange
and mutual knowledge between the Swedish and Portuguese business communities.
CLS is one of the pillars of the “Team Sweden” in Portugal together with the 
Embassy of Sweden. Both organizations coordinate their activities, cooperate, and
thus maximize the outcomes of their individual missions.
